I am a registered patent attorney and focus my practice on patent preparation and prosecution.
Throughout law school, I worked within the intellectual property department of one of the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical producers.
EDUCATION & COURT ADMISSIONS
I am originally from Huntington, West Virginia where I attended and received my B.S. in Biotechnology from Marshall University. Prior to attending law school, I performed extensive research in the development of new diagnostic techniques for identifying cancerous cells. I graduated from the West Virginia University College of law, cum laude, where I served as an Executive Editor on the West Virginia Law Review and as president of the West Virginia Intellectual Property Association.
- Drafted and prosecuted patent applications in many technical areas, including software, mechanical, and medical devices.
- Handled office actions with the USPTO in various technological fields.
- Drafted patent assignments, licenses, and other business agreements for various clients
